๐งฌ K-Series Frankenstein Lab
Uses the block/head you picked above, plus the parts below. Everything routes through the same calc engine as Pro mode.
๐ Turbo Match
Rough airflow-based matching against publicly cited flow ranges for common K-series turbos โ not an actual compressor map.
๐ง Build Planner
Ties the block/head/induction above to a chassis and a goal, and generates a parts list, a rough cost range, and a build-health rollup.

๐ KSwaps Dyno Database
Local to this browser, not a shared community database. Entries you submit here are stored only on this device (localStorage) โ they won't appear for other visitors to the site. Making this genuinely shared across everyone needs a backend (a database + endpoint) wired up on your end; this is the frontend for that once it exists. A few illustrative example builds are pre-loaded below so Predicted vs. Actual has something to compare against.
Methodology & honesty notes
Displacement, compression ratio, rod ratio, piston speed and BMEP-based torque/hp are calculated directly from geometry.
Some database values (chamber volume, piston dish, head casting details) are typical/representative figures for that
engine family and vary by production run โ verify against your actual measured components before finalizing a build.
Compatibility notes reflect commonly known, well-documented K-series swap patterns, not a guarantee for your specific
parts combination. Easy Mode's difficulty/reliability/turbo/transmission ratings, the Frankenstein Builder's
clearance/oil-system/bottom-end flags, the Turbo Match airflow estimates, and the Build Planner's health score and
cost range are all heuristic models built on commonly cited community rules of thumb โ not a clay check, a real
compressor map, or a dyno/durability test. The Dyno Database is a shared Supabase table when configured (see the
code comments for setup SQL) โ falls back to browser-local storage if not configured. Saved Builds remain
browser-local either way. Amazon links use search-based affiliate URLs rather than live product/price data, per
